Zarafa Camp is an elegant and exclusive four-room tent camp, located in the 130,000 hectare Selinda Private Reserve in northern Botswana, in an area where the Okavango Delta and the Chobe / Savute corridors meet. The entire camp has a magnificent view of the crystal clear waters of Zibadjanja Lagoon, the source of the famous Savute Channel.
Zarafa Camp is the brainchild of the founders of Great Plains Conservation, who have gathered their
experiences in safaris and thus have created what they consider the best camp with the latest to protect the environment. For this reason Zarafa is considered the greenest luxury camp on the continent.
The guest tents offer 100 square meters of usable area under the tarpaulin cover (excluding the railroad tie deck and the private plunge pool area), soft beige tarpaulin and open-sided canopy roofs (protected with mesh fabric).
The largest room is connected to a bathroom with an open design and an impressive copper claw foot bathtub, an indoor shower, a separate toilet and double sinks. The decks around the tent lead to a private pool and outdoor shower, all with views of the unspoiled nature of Botswana. Under an impressive canopy of African ebony, the camp has a beautiful main hall, with an adjacent library and dining area. A well-stocked handicraft boutique will satisfy you if your desire is to do therapy-shoping. In-room massage is also available. Zarafa has managed to successfully maintain a distinctly African feel, magnificently balancing the personal with the informal; romance and adventure.
