The Cabochon opened in 2012, its design reflecting the colonial period with interiors that celebrate the sophistication of Indochina in the 1920s. A new building so cleverly created that it belies its young age, the ambiance is that of a grand and highly refined home that has stood the test of time. The Cabochon is perfectly located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of modern Bangkok, a short walk from the city's best shopping malls, popular restaurants and nightlife options in Thonglor. With an elevated train station and subway station just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, Bangkok is truly just around the corner. The hotel features a rooftop pool, library, tour desk and an excellent restaurant and bar serving some of Bangkok's best regional Thai dishes. The hotel has 18 rooms and suites. The entry-level rooms are the 2 double studios, 30 square meters, and the 2 king bed studios, 36 square meters. The Corner Suites of 47 square meters, these 2 suites are the most sought after rooms. Next are the 2 balcony suites of 58 sqm each. There are 2 two bedroom suites and 2 three bedroom suites.
