Annex C - Schedule of Benefits


Benefit Scheme

All of the following benefits are cumulative with each other.

FAM Trips and Travel at agent rates

The agent may go on FAM Trips or go on a travel agent fee-based trip at 100% for each agent from home as long as notice is given and authorization is received to the Vilu Travel team at least 30 days prior to travel.

The Vilu Travel team will notify all commission agents about available FAM Trips with their inclusions, exclusions and costs. Agents may decide if they wish to participate and confirmation of participation is subject to availability, confirmation by the supplier, payment of the FAM at cost, confirmation of the flight and the rules determined by the Vilu Travel team for fairness among all commissioners.

In the event that the home-based agent books commissionable fare products for personal travel (Agent, spouse, or children only) at a cost of 100% to the agent, 60% of the commission for that product will be refunded to the home-based agent provided that at least 15 days notice is given prior to the start of the personal travel.

In the event that the home-based agent wishes to book 100% personal travel products for the agent that have net fares, prior authorization must be requested at least 60 days prior to the start of the trip.

In case of making use of these FAM Trips, special rates or booking at NET rates without prior notice and authorization by the Vilu team, the contract may be terminated unilaterally without any liability and the outstanding commissions may not be paid in whole or in part.

 

Memberships for Gyms, Golf, Art Classes, etc.

Every home-based agent will receive a complimentary membership, or a class, etc., according to the level of commissions they are in and their personal tastes.

From the second quarter onwards, participating as an agent from home as long as you have reached the minimum sales in the first quarter, you will begin to enjoy this benefit.

The benefit will be discussed with the Vilu Travel team to review the individual's tastes.

 

Incentives

Incentives are special promotions that are taken out in conjunction with hotels, hotel chains, tourism secretariats, DMC's, etc., with which an agreement is made so that given certain levels of reservations or sales during a certain period, agents from home can access these incentives.

 

Onboarding

The following processes will be carried out during the onboarding process:

  • Signing of contracts and filling out of document files
  • Review of tax status
  • Registration of e-mails and technological platforms
  • Vilu Travel training and ways of working
  • Vilu Travel Designers Quality Standards Training
  • Explanation of all tools
  • Personalized career development program discussion per agent

 

Training and Continuing Education

During each year, online and face-to-face group trainings will be conducted so that home-based agents can continue to learn and increase their knowledge and sales.

In addition, there will also be one-on-one training on topics that the home-based agent wants to learn about specifically or on topics that are not very clear or not understood at 100%.

Participation in training is important to access benefits.

 

Ongoing communication and internal events

It is very important for us to have continuous communication all the time between the agent from home and the Vilu Travel Designers team.

At least every 15 days there will be a quick call to check how the situation is going and see how we can help.

In addition, a monthly Teams or Zoom call will be held with each agent from home to review trip statistics, financial numbers, training, sales growth strategies and career development.

This communication is independent of the trip closing call for commission payments.

During the course of the year, face-to-face events will be held to promote teamwork and will be communicated in advance. 

In the case of events outside the place of residence (generally the annual event), support will be provided with flights, hotels, etc.

 

Administrative Support

The administrative support provided by the Vilu Travel Designers team to home-based agents includes:

  • Option to work in person at our main offices at We Work Centtral Interlomas in Mexico City up to 3 times per week.
  • MXN bank account in Mexico
  • USD bank account in the United States
  • EUR bank account in Spain
  • Credit card payment platform with a cost of 4.1% in MXN and 4.5% in USD.
  • Virtual card to make travel payments for clients in MXN and USD (1 per agent in MXN and 1 in USD).
  • In-house platform for international transfers at very low cost
  • Payment control
  • Payment reconciliation
  • Reconciliation of commissions
  • Commission payments
  • Charts, statistics and travel reports
  • Administrative equipment for invoicing
  • Administrative team to support with travel queries, quotations, etc.

 

Technological infrastructure

Technology is super important to us and is the future of travel in terms of facilitating tasks and processes. The Vilu Travel Designers team is very devoted to technology and we like to be continuously innovating.

The technological tools that Vilu Travel has and that are continuously updated are:

  • Reservation systems (non-GDS) for flights, hotels, cruises, trains, car rentals, etc. which can be viewed from the supplier base.
  • CRM with access from internet, mobile or tablet
  • Internal database with access from internet, cell phone or tablet
  • Supplier database and tools to make reservations, quotes, etc. with access from internet, cell phone or tablet.
  • App for trip delivery with master control software from the cell phone
  • Internal communication platform with access from internet, cell phone or tablet
  • Access to complex financial instruments to guarantee exchange rates for clients on trips over US$30,000.
  • Reporting system with trip statistics

 

Marketing

Marketing is a powerful tool to increase sales and as such, it is extremely important to us.

The tools provided by Vilu Travel for home-based agents are:

  • Standards and guidelines for agent's own home-based social media posts
  • Social media content
  • Exclusive promotions with hotels, DMC?s, etc.
  • Special promotional events
